History

Aero Engine Solutions was formed in August of 2015
by combining 40+ years of aviation expertise.

Our experience includes Aeronautical Engineering, Engine and Airframe Heavy Maintenance, Whole Asset Leasing, Aircraft Trading, Surplus Parts Distribution, Warehouse and Inventory Management, Portfolio Management, and Finance.

Our focus is the supply of commercial aircraft parts, components, and accessories through the sourcing and disassembly of whole aircraft. Our customers include many of the world's leading Airlines, MROs, Aircraft Leasing Organizations, and Financial Institutions. Our commitment is to provide the highest level of quality, integrity, and value, all while meeting the critical needs of our customers.

Aero Engine Solutions commitment starts with our new 10,000 square foot, state of the art, warehousing and distribution facility located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. We are in the heart of the Treasure Coast, centrally located between Miami & Orlando.

 
Many members of our Aero Engine Solutions team have served in the United States Marine Corps.The same level of integrity and honor of being a US Marine carries over into our team members' work ethic and daily business.

The Team

President

Tyler Norman

Tyler brings over 10 years of Aviation Management experience to AES, including time spent in the United States Marine Corps. As a Sergeant of Marines, he successfully deployed as an Operation Enduring Freedom participant and held multiple leadership positions in a CH53E squadron. Before opening AES, he was a founding member of the Intertrade/Rockwell Collins Engine Product Line, and started his commercial career with Aeroturbine, Inc.

Andrew McCain

With more than 17 years of aviation experience, Andrew joined the AES team in February 2016 with a focus on operations and business development. Before this he worked with AeroTurbine for 8 years where he held positions in parts purchasing and sales, trading and leasing, financial analysis, and customer account management. He began his aviation career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a fixed wing mechanic, and participated in the second Gulf War.

OPERATIONS

Patrick Moss

Patrick brings 13 years of aviation experience to Team AES. From 2004 to 2014 he served in the United States Marine Corps as a CH-53E Super Stallion Avionics Technician, Quality Assurance Representative, and Operations Supervisor. Patrick has also worked as a government contractor overseeing Bell and Sikorsky operations and maintenance activities.

Valerie Bailey

Valerie joined the team in January 2017 with focus on Customer Support, Marketing, and Special Projects. Before this she worked with Killick Aerospace as an Outside Sales Manager for Commercial Engine and Airframe Parts.

Sales & acquisitions

Katy Bentley

With more than 37 years in aviation, Katy joined the AES team as the Director of Sales in September 2017.  Katy started her career with 8 years in the United States Air Force, then moved on to a Logistic Management position with Robins AFB.  She has also worked for AAR as a JSTARS Program Manager, Volvo and VAS as a Sales Manager, and was a founding member of the Intertrade/Rockwell Collins Engine Group.
